FAQ about Paths

Q1. Do I need to publish each Room before adding it to a Path?

Yes. Any Room you want to include in a Path must be set to published. If a Room is unpublished, it won’t be visible or selectable when creating/editing your Path. Once all Rooms are published, you can attach them to your Path in the desired order.

Q2. How do I change the order of Rooms in an existing Path?

Go to the Edit Path page. You’ll see a list of “Selected Rooms” where you can move them up or down with arrow buttons. After adjusting, click Save Path to lock in the new sequence.

Q3. Can a single Room be used in multiple Paths?

Absolutely. Rooms are modular. You can reuse the same Room across several Paths. For instance, a generic “Intro to HTML” Room could appear in both an “HTML Mastery” Path and a broader “Full-Stack Development” Path.

Q4. Does deleting a Room affect a Path that uses it?

If you permanently delete a Room, any Path referencing that Room will lose it. This can disrupt learner progress. If you simply want to hide a Room, consider unpublishing it or removing it from the Path instead of deleting it entirely.

Q5. How does progress calculation work for a Path?

Each Path tracks a user’s overall progress by aggregating their completion percentages for all attached Rooms. Typically, if a user has 100% in each Room, the Path is considered fully completed (100%), unlocking any completion certificate if you have one set up.

Q6. Can I upload a different certificate for each Path?

Yes. Each Path can have its own PDF certificate. When you edit a Path, you can remove or replace the certificate file anytime. If you do not want to offer a certificate, simply leave that field blank.

Q7. What if I need to update the Path name or image after publishing?

You can freely edit Path Title, Description, Introduction, or even the banner image at any time. Changes appear immediately for learners. If you drastically restructure your Path (removing or adding Rooms), be mindful of the impact on existing learners’ progress.

Q8. Can I have multiple published Paths at once?

Certainly. You can create and publish as many Paths as you want—each Path has its own unique URL. Just ensure each Path’s content is relevant and properly structured for learners to follow.

Q9. How do I share my Path’s link to earn revenue?

Once your Path is published, copy its public URL (typically includes ?ref=external) from the Path List page. Share this link on social media, email newsletters, or your website. Any new subscribers who sign up via that link are tracked, and you’ll earn a share of subscription revenue.
