LearnPath

Publish and Monetize

Overview

After creating your UGC content (Steps, Rooms, and Paths), you’ll want to make it publicly available and start earning revenue. In LearnPath, you can publish a Path with a unique shareable URL, promote it on social media, and receive a revenue share when users become monthly subscribers through your link.

1. How to Publish

Each Path (and Room) has a published toggle in its respective list page:

  • Path List View:
Use the “Publish Setting” dialog to switch published to ON/OFF.

Click “TRUE” or “FALSE”.

- If you want learners to discover your content in search or by direct URL, make sure the Path is published.

2. Sharing the Path URL

Each published Path has a unique URL you can share on social media or other platforms. You can find it in the Path List page after toggling published to ON. It looks like this:

https://learn-path.net/ugc/path/{YOUR_PATH_ID}?ref=external

Important: Keep the query parameters (e.g., ?ref=external) intact when sharing. Removing them may prevent proper revenue attribution.

Anyone visiting this URL can view your Path and (if required) sign up for a monthly membership. When they subscribe through your link, you’ll receive 20% of their monthly fee as a revenue share.

3. How You Earn

  • A user clicks on your Path URL and visits LearnPath.
  • They decide to become a monthly paid subscriber ($15/month).
  • LearnPath pays you 20% of their monthly fee as long as they remain subscribed.

This revenue (e.g., $3 out of a $15 subscription) accumulates in your account and is shown under pending earnings until you transfer it to your bank account.

4. Managing Payments

LearnPath uses Stripe to handle payments. To receive your earnings, register a bank account via the UGC Manage → Payments page.

Key steps:

  • Connect a Stripe account: Click “Add payout account” to create or link an existing Stripe Connect account.
  • Complete onboarding: Provide required info (e.g., bank details, identity verification) in Stripe’s onboarding flow.
  • Check pending earnings: Earnings from subscriptions are shown as pending. When ready, select your account and initiate a Transfer.

5. Tips and Reminders

- Promote your Path: The more people sign up via your shared URL, the higher your monthly earnings. Use social media, newsletters, or blogging to reach potential learners.
- Regularly update your content: Keeping your UGC fresh encourages renewals and positive reviews.
- Keep track of your payments: All your connected Stripe accounts and pending balances are visible under the Payments page. You can update or delete your payout accounts at any time.
